Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Reinforcement Pack

New units join the fight!

Reinforcements are deployed to the frontlines and the war intensifies. The commands of the four armies vying for control of Gladius send troops that can tip the balance of power. However, a new insidious enemy lurks in the shadows: they bid on the situation sometimes, and now they are ready to strike …

The Booster Pack brings five new units to the battlefields of Gladius Prime!

One new unit per faction, plus one for neutrals, fulfilling a new role in battle and increasing the strategic options available to all commanders.

Tempestus Scions (Astra Militarum)

Militarum Tempestus The Scions are often feared by regular troops, with nicknames such as “glory boys” and “great soldiers”. Trained in covert operations and fast, aggressive tactics, they go into battle confident that their every action is for the good of the Empire itself.

Necrons

Even before biotransference, the immortals were elite Necrontyr soldiers and marched at the head of armies during their galactic conquests. Reborn in tireless metal bodies, they have become a shock to every army of the tomb world. Where Necron Warriors are merely fodder for enemy weapons, Immortals are far more valuable to their Overlords and are always deployed accordingly. Heavily armed, they will stop at nothing in completing their masters’ objectives and will often find themselves at the center of any crushing offensive or counterattack.

Flash Gitz (Orks)

Among the richest and most obnoxious of their warlike race, Flash Gitz travels the galaxy, engaging in acts of outrageous piracy and mindless vandalism. They hire themselves out as mercenaries in the orcish opposition, wallowing in Boyz’s jealousy. Despite their ostentation, Flash Gitz gives Warboss all the power he pays for.

Land Raider (Space Marines)

The ground trembles and enemies flee in fear as the mighty Land Raider enters the battle. Massively armored and unstoppable, the powerful war engine pierces walls and grinds wreckage as volleys of fire hit the enemy. Beams of incandescent energy strike enemy tanks, comb through armored hulls, and reduce them to fireballs. Screw projectiles hit the enemy’s body before they detonate. The kill counter climbs with each passing moment as the Land Raider passes through the war zone, especially when the tank’s front ramp slams shut and the passengers of the Adeptus Astartes charge to join the carnage.

Neophyte Hybrids (Neutral)

Every cultist is tough – relying on hard work all their lives, their physical strength and reaction being amplified by the alien genes lurking within. They do not possess the outward qualities of the holy touch of the Patriarch; As their leaders say, their blessings are needed by the soul more than the body. These third- and fourth-generation hybrids can pass for humans – some are even clever enough to infiltrate Astra Militarum. When a cult goes on the attack, these Neophytes show their true colors. Pouring out of sewers, catacombs, and shady barracks, they overwhelm their enemies in such numbers that they can take control of the planet within the first hours of conquest.
