Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Fortification Pack

This content requires the base game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War in order to play.

The Fortification Pack is an expansion for Warhammer 40,000 Gladius – Relics of War, bringing one new defensive unit to each faction. As the war rages, all factions involved in a fierce struggle for supremacy over Gladius Prime resort to erecting massive ramparts and deploying new, modern defensive weapons.

Space Marines – Aquila Macro-Cannon
Powerful fortifications, often used as bastions in imperial defensive lines. Each of them consists of an ammunition silo, topped by a large turret that houses the powerful cannon that gives it its name. The ammunition silo allows you to fire special “Quake Projectiles,” each measuring several Terran feet and carrying a powerful charge that causes the projectiles to reach hypersonic speeds.

Astra Militarum – Shield Generator
Hollow Shields are usually localized force fields reserved for the protection of Adeptus Mechanic’s monolithic Titans, but Static Generators can also be erected to serve as a base for other essential purposes. The largest generators can even send an invisible bubble of power over a large area of the battlefield, protecting both troops and strategically important battlefield locations by absorbing or reflecting the energy of incoming ammunition.

Space Soldiers of Chaos – Noktilith Crown
The Crowns of Noctilith are brutal structures erected by the Space Walkers of Chaos in order to weaken the foundations of reality. Made of a mysterious material known as black stone, these massive resonators work to shield their own units and deal damage to enemies.

Necrons – Gauss Pylon
The mysterious Necron defensive turrets, designated “Pylons” by those who originally encountered them, were first recorded in the world of WDY-272. Rising suddenly from the desert sands, the Pylons opened fire without warning and with devastating effect, tanks and armored personnel carriers burning like crescent-shaped weapons tore apart the column of the unsuspecting Imperial Guard, resisting all attempts at retaliation.

Orks – Big Mek
Mekboyz will soon attract followers. With such clout, Mek is called the Great Mech and can prove to be indispensable to the local Warboss with his knowledge of assault pistols, force field technology, and teleportation platforms.

Tyranids – Biovores
Biovore is a squat, bloated creature, but no less deadly. Deep in its clump form, Biovore nurtures Spore Mines – living bombs that cover the enemy with acids, poisons, and shrapnel-sized chitin shards. Biovores strike forward in battle, bony ledges on the front elevations anchoring themselves to the ground, unleashing their vile payload in a single, quivering spasm.
