Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 Siberian Strike takes place in an isolated town in Siberia and offers a new world experience in solving missions. Players will not be guided, and the only way to find yourself in a new location is to use the map.
In the remote, abandoned Siberian city of Birsovik Birsovik, the Russian government has set up a secret military base focused on weapons R&D. U.S. intelligence gets word that the facility has been adapted to create weapons of mass destruction. CIA agent M. Diaz is sent to the scene and pretends to be a lab worker to uncover the truth. When he stops sending reports, a rescue mission begins.
The player takes on the role of Cole “Sandman Anderson”, a veteran sniper, now in the ranks of Task 121 – a group specially formed to fight dangerous groups in the Asia-Pacific region. Anderson is tasked with locating Diaz’s GPS signal and assessing the situation on the ground, then taking over any information Diaz could find.
