Pike and Shot: Campaigns

In Pike and Shot, you’ll follow in the footsteps of great leaders during one of the most incredible periods of European history, taking command in the great struggles of the Fifth Austro-Turkish War, the 30 Years’ War, and the English Civil War.

History can be rewritten as you use your genius to lead your army from victory to victory in Pike and Shot’s uniquely designed tactical battles. Previous victories and defeats determine the readiness of your forces, and each unit will matter to win the final battle. As you progress through the campaign, you’ll have to make tough decisions on an all-new strategic map, where terrain, reserves, resources, destruction, sieges, and economic losses will affect your choices and make the difference between victory and defeat.

Hundreds of hours of gameplay await you in 4 campaigns, with different armies and tactics:

  • Gustavus Adolphus’ campaign, during the Swedish period of the 30 Years’ War, will allow you to play as either the Swedes or the imperial troops.
  • The English Civil War campaign will allow you to play as either royalists or parliamentarians.
  • The campaign of the Fifth Austro-Turkish War during the famous Siege and Battle of Vienna in 1683 will allow you to play as Austria and Poland or as the Ottoman Empire.
  • The Pike and Shot skirmish campaign will allow you to choose any two armies from the period 1494-1698 in a struggle for supremacy.
