F.3.A.R.

DON’T FIGHT ALONE WHEN FEAR STRIKES YOU

F.3.A.R . is the next installment of the popular FPS series. Like its predecessors, it combines elements of horror (clearly inspired by Japanese films in this genre) with pure action. Unlike the two previous titles in the series, F.3.A.R. is not produced by Monolith Productions, but by Day 1 Studios – the authors of the m.in MechAssault series and the port of the first F.E.A.R. for Xbox and PlayStation 3.

Once again, we will face the main villain of the entire series, Alma. As a result of the events we participated in in the finale of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, she is pregnant again. As usual, he is also burning with a desire for revenge, wanting to destroy the entire human species. The arrival of a new “family member” is eagerly awaited by Paxton Fettel – an unpleasant but brilliant soldier, well known to fans of the previous installments of the series. The game will also feature his older brother, Alma’s firstborn son, Point Man – the perfect killing machine and invincible warrior who was the hero of the first game. However, before the game’s heroes have siblings, the game world will be shaken by Alma’s extremely strong antenatal contractions, which will cause shockwaves that will sweep through all levels.

Alma returns in F.3.A.R., but this time her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel will introduce a variety of co-op modes, allowing players to have distinctly different abilities that will affect the way they play and how their co-op partner plays.

In both single-player and co-op modes, players will be able to take on the role of Point Man, a genetically enhanced super soldier who appeared in the first F.E.A.R. Co-op mode.

F.3.A.R. was developed by legendary horror director John Carpenter (Halloween, Village of the Damned) and critically acclaimed horror writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Darkness). Steve Niles co-wrote the game’s script, while John Carpenter contributed to the game’s cutscenes.
