Dying Light is an action survival game in which the events are shown from a first-person perspective. The action is set in a vast, dangerous open world. By day, players roam urban areas ravaged by a horrific outbreak, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons that allow them to fend off the attacks of infected citizens. At night, the hunter turns out to be the hunted when the enemies become much more aggressive and dangerous. The biggest threat, however, are nocturnal predators, which leave their nests and go hunting only after dusk. Players must use all means and skills to survive until dawn.

Welcome to Quarantine – Experience an original story set in the poignant world of an infected city walled off from the world. Only the strongest have a chance to survive here! Vast Open World – The player freely roams a vast area plunged into chaos and destruction. In this diverse world, he fights a desperate fight for survival against many types of enemies, as the infected are not the only threat. You often have to kill to get your hands on ever-dwindling resources.
Night is a game-changer – During the day, the player explores the world in search of supplies and weapons. After nightfall, the infected city undergoes a dramatic transformation and the gameplay takes on a whole new dimension. The player goes from being a hunter to being hunted, the ranks of the infected are growing, and something even more dangerous emerges from the darkness in search of their prey.
Parkour Movement – Whether you’re hunting your prey or running from predators, Dying Light allows you to navigate the entire city intuitively and easily. Jump between buildings, climb walls, and attack enemies from the air. You’ve never seen such complete freedom of movement in an open world.
Brutal, Juicy Melee Combat – Go toe-to-toe with enemies and fight with a variety of weapons for brutal close-quarters combat. Knives, sticks, axes and other, even more unusual tools of destruction are in motion. Knock down your opponents, cut off their limbs, fight for your life!
Firearms – Powerful, but loud. Use pistols, shotguns, and rifles to gain an advantage over your opponents. However, keep in mind that they make noise that can attract enemies.
Create Your Own Weapons – Why use a regular cleaver when you can combine it with a lighter and deal more damage? Or wrap a hammer with live barbed wire? In Dying Light, players create their own versions of weapons and build increasingly deadly combat tools.
Become a Quarantine Hero – In Dying Light, the player takes on the role of a character that can be developed through RPG elements to suit their chosen playstyle. A difficult path from zero to hero awaits her.
Play by your own rules – Use weapons, environments, and traps set by other survivors. Taunt your opponents and pit them against you. Complete tasks day and night, take advantage of darkness, fog or storm to go unnoticed. Give yourself the upper hand with offensive and defensive gadgets. You decide!
