Once upon a time, in a faraway land, everything was lush and green. Unicorns walked in the forest, and elves and humans lived in harmony with their surroundings. But somewhere at the edge of a clearing, partially hidden among the trees, there is a dilapidated hut. Inside the cabin, a figure can be seen leaning over a large, ominously glowing crystal ball in the darkness and floating mist. A gibberish voice sings ancient formulas, prompting the glowing, swirling clouds within the sphere to part and provide a glimpse into the future.
“Everything is changing, nothing is certain. Come, grimaces of time and space. Pull back the veil to show us what’s coming,” the voice murmurs. Under the hood of the figure, one eye shines. The observer of the figure, barely visible in the dim light, leans forward and listens intently. “Time goes back and forth, creating folds on reality… But as the haze parts, only blurred images emerge from behind the curtain. Shhhhh You don’t want to disturb those delicate spells, do you?” whispers the figure, still hunched over the orb, driving the observer back into the shadows. “Ah, the picture becomes clearer. See… something… A couple of things. Traces of voices echoing in the fog. Baby. Something is happening on Doom Hill. The Slime Council meets. What could all this mean?”
The light reflecting in the eye suddenly turns red, and an ominous laugh echoes through the forest. Expect the return of the foretold evil!

The Greatest Evil and his trusty *cough* subject, the dark elf Thalya, return in Dungeons 4 after the events of the previous installment in the series to triumph over the forces of good once again.
