Deep Sky Derelicts: New Perspectives is the first expansion pack for Deep Sky Derelicts, bringing incredible improvements and new features to the game that open up exciting prospects for gatherers scouring the world.

Land on planets, get lost in a blizzard or sandstorm, interact with scavenger colonies, and destroy monster nests – “New Perspectives” not only brings huge changes to the scenery and variety among the objects you encounter, but also makes exploration even more exciting and suspenseful. Brace yourself, living on the edge can really pay off for you…

To help you adapt to and defeat these unknown threats, we’ve also equipped you with a host of new and improved tools and skills that you’ll always have at your fingertips. These include stealth, trapping, ranged scanning, healing on the move, and combat actions that use elements of the environment. And a whole new class – the miner. Life has never been so difficult and so exciting at the same time!

Main features:

• New Exploration Mechanics:

      ○ Exploration modes: Fast, Normal, and Stealth now allow you to try to sneak past enemies, ambush them, or solve problems as usual – saving energy.

      ○ Perform a focused scan to discover objects and activities in remote locations.

      ○ Field First Aid helps restore health to injured teammates and temporarily increases the number of cards you draw when you’re away from home.

• A wide range of new ambient conditions:

      ○ Global conditions (on the wreckage): dynamic gravity, plague, radiation waves, and many more.

      ○ New local effects, such as dangerous weather anomalies on planets: snowstorms and sandstorms.

      ○ Other circumstances, such as the Ghost Ship (wrecks full of stealthy attackers, dangerous enemies) and the tourist trap (more loot, more dead collectors)…

      ○ Enemy groups reappear on wrecks, including those already visited.

• New non-shipwreck places to visit: ice and desert planets.
• Settlements: Enclosed, protected areas that belong to different factions, such as Gatherer Colonies, Pirate Forts, and Plague Nests. There are many ways to interact with them: accept contracts they have commissioned, start trading with them, or loot them.
• New combat actions that take advantage of the environment can be used in combat in exchange for energy. This is an alternative to playing normal cards. These types of actions can significantly expand the range of your tactical options.
• 10 new enemies, including new killer varieties of Cobra and Skink, but also Scary Mints, Stone Shepherds and Myrmexes.
• A new character class, the Miner. A special look, a skill tree, and an exclusive heavy ranged weapon, the blaster. Plus, expansion modifiers and new tabs!
• The new equipment offers incredible options for equipping your scavengers with gear that will allow them to shine, such as shield-regenerating cores or unusual modifications.
• A dozen exciting new side missions to complete both on the surface of the planet and in the wreckage.
• Numerous UI fixes and improvements:

      ○ Single-use items menu on the left side of the scanner screen.

      ○ New buttons for normal and focused scanning on the scanner screen.
