Ceres
The solar system is devastated. The earth was gone, shattered to pieces. Nothing was left of it but a huge ring of rocky debris. No one knows why the Gate didn’t work. It was built to connect our world with other stars, but only a handful of colony ships were sent back before disaster. It is believed that the Gate unexpectedly merged with the wrong star – a newly formed nova. Gravitational wave currents flooded our solar system, and the Earth was immediately destroyed. The gateway then began to merge with random stars, ejecting ashes from dying worlds, radiation from younger suns, and even attracting alien life forms. The solar system began to change.
The humans and their vehicles are still going on: the remnants of civilization have begun to gather to form warring factions. Many adventurers traverse the cold wasteland in their spaceships, defying death and unknown dangers – there are many tales of monstrous machines and space beasts hunting down unlucky ships. Real threats or just a fantasy? Who can now separate the myths from the ever-changing reality?
In a world where humans, monsters, and god-like machines fight for survival, someone will eventually have to step down. You play the role of a young adventurer who has just got his hands on the first spaceship, and he wants to make a name for himself. A simple reconnaissance mission becomes something much more serious when you encounter an Artificial Intelligence named Ceres.
