Carcassonne: The Official Board Game
The official adaptation of the famous board game Carcassonne.
Create Your Own Carcassonne
The city of Carcassonne has always made an impressive impression, attracting tourists. Markets, houses and streets have made it a great tourist attraction. Now’s your chance to build your own Carcassonne! Sit down at a table with your friends and start building meadows, fortresses, entire cities and roads with small tokens, competing with each other to take control of the most attractive locations. A clever move can deprive your opponent of the opportunity to complete a huge city or allow you to take control of a large meadow.
New graphics and updated manual
The phenomenon of Carcassonne lies in the simple rules and high randomness, which makes each game different. Players pull out random pieces of the board and place them on a table, arranging them to create new castles, abbeys, roads, or farmlands. When you create a new object, you can take control of it. The more chips there are on the table, the bigger the objects become and even merge with each other. When an object is completed – such as a city or a road – the person controlling it receives points and the pawn is returned to the player. The goal of the game is to collect as many points as possible at the end of the game when you run out of chips to stack on the table.
2 mini expansions
The River miniature expansion allows you to spice up the start of the game in Carcassonne – instead of a starting token, players place a river for the first few turns, thus creating the beginning of the board. The river consists of 12 tiles with a darker reverse. The Abbot introduces gardens, which are located on tiles, and the abbot’s pawns into the game. The tile of the monastery or garden is laid according to the standard rules. The player can then choose whether to place a meeple or an abbot on it. A subordinate is placed according to the standard rules, an abbot must be placed in a monastery or garden that has just been added! If a monastery or garden occupied by an abbot is surrounded by 8 tiles, the player receives points, as with the standard monastery scoring. Gardens are scored in the same way as monasteries, the only difference being that only the abbot can be placed there.
