A series of bitter and horrific murders tainted the atmosphere of Tehran. The situation is very worrying and there is nothing that the police or the city guards can do! The press is basting the government and sarcastically talking about how the avenues of Tehran have turned into scenes from Western movies. Every day a new murder is committed, a new family mourns their loved ones, and more and more people are overcome with fear; fear of being the next victim…
But who becomes the victim of such heinous murders? Rich? Politicians? Or maybe the upper class? The victims are innocent children from the southern districts; What wrong have they done to get caught up in this devilish game? No one has any idea who the murderer is.
Attention is drawn to the high degree of violence in these murders. Most victims are tortured before they die and then brutally cut into pieces! Such unbridled violence further increases social tensions. While the overall situation in Tehran becomes more chaotic over time, Colonel Nasiri, the chief of police, hands the case over to one of his elite officers, Detective Afshar, in hopes of saving the people and city of Tehran.
But is the murderer just a crazed sadist? All the evidence points to this. However, a journalist named Sarsalouki has a different interpretation in mind! He believes that some forces are working hand in hand with the murderer, which means that not only are they not unhappy with these events, but they are inflaming social fury and feeding on the fear permeating society! But who is a murderer anyway?
