Remember Me is a third-person action-adventure game in which players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to hack into people’s minds, steal and modify their memories. The authorities, fearing her knowledge and skills, arrest Nilin and wipe her memory. After escaping from prison, Nilin attempts to regain his identity. The search for her own past makes her a target for the people responsible for creating a surveillance society

Citizens have accepted this constant monitoring of society in exchange for the comfort that only technology can provide.
