Resident Evil biohazard HD REMASTER
The game that defined the survival-horror genre is back! Introducing Resident Evil in a new, remastered HD version.
In 1998, a task force was sent to investigate strange killings on the outskirts of Raccoon City. Upon arrival, officers were attacked by a pack of bloodthirsty dogs, forcing them to hide in a nearby property. But the smell of death hung heavily in the air. You have to fight for survival, despite the dwindling supplies.
Graphics
- More detailed graphics to convey the creepy mood.
- Gameplay locations come to life with the detail achieved by increasing resolution and using non-static 3D models.
- The HD graphics were made even more realistic by adding image post-processing effects such as highlighting filters, which were not easy to achieve when the game first hit the market.
- High Resolution Locations – We’ve increased the resolution of gameplay background details by recreating them with high-resolution static images and animated 3D models.
Widescreen support
- We’ve added support for widescreen (16:9) for more realistic gameplay.
- In widescreen mode, it is possible to scroll the screen. The invisible portions at the top and bottom of the screen will scroll automatically, depending on where the character is.
- The display mode can be changed in real-time during gameplay.
Sound and new control system
- High-quality audio – The audio has been remastered to increase the sample rate and, of course, is now supported in a 5.1 system.
- New control system
- You can play with your current control system or use an alternative system where you just need to use the analog stick to go in the direction you want.
- The control system can be switched in real-time during gameplay.
