It’s time to create and lead your own community of heroes through immersive story-driven campaigns, each with its own unique narrative and challenges.
Choose three heroes from among the most emblematic characters of Middle-earth and build your deck around their specific skills and powers. Each Hero has one of four spheres of influence, Leadership, Knowledge, Spirit, or Tactics, so you can play specific buff cards as you play. Choose wisely as you build your deck and make the most of each of your heroes to gain an advantage over your opponents during immersive campaigns. You will enjoy hours of gameplay and choices, you will write your own adventure that will be sung for centuries.
While your journeys may contain great challenges, using heroes and decks will ensure you victory in battle. Sometimes, combining the strength of multiple heroes from the same Sphere of Influence to increase their power can help you defeat the crowds of enemies you’ll be fighting. You may have to rely on the Willpower of your heroes to increase your Fate pool and trigger powerful abilities that can turn the tide of battle. There are many ways to win, you need to find a deck and strategy that works!
Each mission will require you to experiment with strategies as you confront increasingly terrifying enemies, from giant spiders to ferocious trolls and even hordes of mighty orcs! The Dark Lord will do everything in his power to prevent you from completing your journey. Beware of its threat pool, which can activate story-related events to make your task more difficult. Be careful that the Threat Pool does not reach the maximum… otherwise, he will direct the Eye of Sauron directly at you!
