Corporations are competing to turn Mars into a habitable planet, spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise temperatures, create breathable atmospheres, and create oceans. As terraforming advances, more and more people will emigrate from Earth to live on the Red Planet.
In Terraforming Mars, you control a corporation with a specific profile. Use project cards, expand your production, put your cities and green spaces on the map, and race for milestones and rewards! Will your corporation pave the way for a new era of humanity?

Turn-based strategy: choose a specialized corporation, build facilities, research innovative technologies, and manage resource productions
Life on Mars? Improve conditions on the Red Planet by heating it to melt the ice and create oceans, planting oxygen-producing plants, and introducing both small and large animals.
Corporate competition: that nice forest you planted there – wouldn’t it be a shame if a large asteroid was directed to this place? Create designs that will slow down your opponents!
Mars for All: Play solo or with up to 5 players in multiplayer or online games with humans or AI
Game variant: Try the rules of Corporate Era for a more complex game. This variant adds new cards, including 2 new corporations, and focuses on economics and technology. These are projects that don’t directly contribute to terraforming, but empower corporations by adding new strategic choices to the game!
Solo Challenge: Finish terraforming Mars before the end of Generation #14. Try out new rules and features in the most challenging solo mode on the planet (red).
