Last Days of Old Earth is a turn-based strategy game set in a world in the distant future when the sun is dying. Once in a generation, the remnants of humanity must travel to the equator, where it is still warm enough to support life.
Last Days of Old Earth invites you to become the leader of the human Skywatchers or the robotic Automata, two extremely opposing factions. In a hostile environment where natural resources have almost been depleted, you must fight for survival with each turn. With scarcity comes competition, and only the law of the wilderness applies in this icy and desolate world.
Game Features
- Explore frozen ruins in the distant future, finding settlements and ruined cities of a once-thriving civilization. Discover and use resources to build your armies and defeat your opponents.
- Play as the Skywatchers Clan, the last heirs to a once-mighty human legacy, or as the mysterious Automata, robotic guardians created by a lost civilization for an unknown purpose – two distinct factions, each with a different playstyle.
- Play with your own powerful army decks or choose from pre-made. Create specialized decks, or find a balance between heroes, infantry, artillery, air and armor units, and then fight your opponents online and offline.
- Follow the legendary leaders of the Skywatchers Clan in a massive, story-driven single-player mission-based campaign, uncovering more details about the game’s unique folklore.
- Fight your opponent’s army in thrilling turn-based battles, where clever tactics and good placement can tip the scales, even against opponents of greater numbers.
- Sneak behind your opponent to take out their heroes or destroy their buildings to thwart their best plans with stealth mechanics.
- Strike at the heart of the enemy’s forces from the air, weakening their armies, or send in an air fleet to scout undiscovered areas of the map, quickly uncovering enemy plans.
- Upgrade your buildings with new objects and defense systems.
- Deploy 24 unique heroes to lead your armies with powerful special abilities.
- Heroes and units have special abilities: use them to your advantage and discover the best combinations and tactics that suit your playstyle.
- Use your terrain wisely! Climb hills and mountains for an improved line of sight, and hide in forests and ruins to protect your units from attacks.
- An ambush mode that uses randomly generated maps, offering varied theaters of war every time.
