Storyline
Arata Mizunashi, a video game programmer, receives a notification from an email sent to him by Shina Ninomiya, his colleague who went missing almost a year ago. Together, they worked to create World’s Odyssey (W.O.D.), an immersive virtual landscape powered by breathtaking, state-of-the-art technology. That is, until Shiny’s sudden disappearance stopped production. Arata discovers the startling discovery that Shina Ninomiya has been stuck in the “W.O.D.” all along. When Arata hurriedly returns to the line of code haunting his abandoned project, he realizes that his game is now ravaged by worm infections and that Shina is her only active player.
Arata quickly learns that a nefarious force is preventing him from getting Shiny out of the game. Her only way out? He must complete the game to unlock the perfect ending – with a score of 1%. Along their journey, they encounter a plethora of NPCs that blur the perception of humanity and A.I. technology, setting in motion an exciting narrative that questions the differences between the virtual world and ours.

- Fact or fiction? – Jump between Reality Mode and Game Mode, as players will need to explore the actual view to solve the mysterious inner workings of World Odyssey, and switch to the in-game view mode to fight monsters. Choose your options wisely, as your decision can change the ending of the game!
- Turn-Based Upside Down Tournaments – In this turn-based command battle system, you are free to roam and fight fearsome monsters. During the battle, players can change the genre of the game from a first-person shooter to even a fighting game!
- You run outside – as players explore, they will need to activate character-specific dungeon skills to gain access to hard-to-reach areas and hidden treasures!
- Track the white rabbit and explore a virus-infested world – in this hyper-realistic game world, players must help Shina escape a gaming world filled with infected bosses and mesmerizing environments!
