The Last Crown: Midnight Horror
Halloween: the veil that separates our world from the “other side” is the thinnest. Witches celebrate Samhain, a festival of the ancient Celtic religion that involves summoning the dead and communicating with spirits. Nigel Danvers, the ghost hunter, knows all about the souls lurking in the shadows, and has seen a lot to see that evil forces are at work. So why is Halloween so different? Dusting off his old ghost hunter gadgets, Nigel gets to work. Something haunts the guest rooms above the local harbour pub called The Bear. Who or what is hiding in the dark corners of the old inn? What is the mysterious presence at the very end of the breakwater? Nigel has only one night to discover it before the veil becomes opaque again and the Halloween Nightmare disappears until next year.
