Sniper: Ghost Warrior is City Interactive’s first big-budget action/FPS game. Unlike the previous shooters of this manufacturer, whose budget was 2 million zlotys and the production time was only half a year, the creation of this title took 2 years and consumed 3 million zlotys.
Originally , Sniper: Ghost Warrior was released exclusively for Xbox 360 and PC. The versions intended for these platforms sold so well that the producer decided to create a full-fledged sequel, as well as convert the first part to PlayStation 3. The latter includes bonus missions for the single mode and additional maps and gameplay modules (m.in. Capture the Flag) for multiplayer, as well as two new models of sniper rifles: the L96 and the M200 Intervention.
The game is set in modern times, in a fictional South American country. The player will take on the role of a sniper, observer and member of a strike team in order to overthrow a ruthless military regime. The game contains numerous cutscenes and dialogues that make up the plot line.
The game features realistic graphics based on Chrome Engine 4 technology, an advanced physics system, varied missions, a rich arsenal of weapons, and challenging enemies. Sniper: Ghost Warrior has a total of about 10 hours of gameplay in singleplayer mode and 6 special levels designed for online multiplayer play.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior Map Pack expands the multiplayer mode with 5 additional maps. Fight for control over a dilapidated oil rig or lurk to capture one of the mystical stone towers.
This map pack adds new sniper points to the game and the chance to eliminate enemies from even farther away.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior – Second Strike features an additional single-player campaign called “Unfinished Business” with sophisticated AI and a challenging new level. It also introduces a new multiplayer mode (Capture the Flag) and three additional weapons: the M200 and L96 sniper rifles and the Desert Eagle high-caliber pistol. To test your skills in the ultimate test, we’ve also included a Challenge map.
