If you’ve come here, it’s a sign that you want to manage your own chariot racing team. Train your charioteers and give them the best equipment and horses. If you can handle this, your chariots will bring you fame and fortune, but be careful! Chariot races are dangerous. Accidents can happen, and rival teams can try to hurt your riders during the race. It’s better not to get too attached to your coachmen and always have replacements ready. Good luck!
Qvadriga is a tactical chariot racing game set in ancient Roman circuses where you take control of a team of four-horse chariots. Choose your preferred combinations of upgrades and test your skills in the arena. Choose the cleverest actions your team can take against the best riders of the ancient world: shake the reins, whip your horses, choose your tracks, hold your own tightly when entering corners, dodge attacks, block your opponents’ route, wounds and whip them until victory is achieved.
Embark on an epic campaign from the humblest tracks of the farthest reaches of the empire, assemble a strong team and make a name for yourself in the provinces until you are rich enough to open your way to the greatest competition at Rome’s Circus Maximus, where you can enter the pages of history and earn the favor of the gods.
Game Features
- Circuses modeled from historical records with their styles and details. Various sizes, lengths and shapes, from the classic Greek oval hippodrome, to the standard Roman circus.
- Varying Numbers of Rivals: Participate in tactical races for 4 teams, enter the center of chaos with 16 opponents.
- Expert Artificial Intelligence recognizing its situation and maximizing its capabilities.
- Two game systems: turn-based gameplay with pause (static) or continuous real-time action (dynamic). Play the way you want.
- The one-click decision-making interface opens up a huge variety of immersive consequences.
- Upgradable team components: the abilities and stamina of the riders can be upgraded, and the quality, size, speed and stamina of the horses can be changed. Any combination is useful as long as you play to its strengths.
- Six historical factions to join, which will provide specific upgrades to your team.
- A grand campaign system with 7 regions to travel through, with the ability to start in any of them, from the exotic arenas of the Far East to the northern borders with the barbarian lands.
- 43 circuses available, 7 starter circuses available from the start, unlock arenas of a higher category and gain fame.
- A unique bonus in each city that can affect all aspects of the competition.
- Racing events enrich the campaign by changing the conditions of the race. Your faction will try to help you in the most difficult moments, if you are successful, your rivals will want to make your life difficult.
- Buy, sell, and repair teams. Acquire the best components by gaining access to higher tier circuses, hire a medic, craftsmen, and veterinary service to increase your scores and build the best team.
